Association of Turkish Consulting Engineers and Architects believes that the road to civilization passes through science and technology and said passage can only be realized with the guidance of engineering and architecture. Under the light of said belief, ATCEA sees that development of our country can only be possible with the strengthening of the technical consulting sector and continues its activities in the following issues with the policies that have been developed with its members in line with its objective.
1. Search for appropriate solution methods for the actual problems encountered in the construction sector in our country by organizing meetings, seminars and panels and discussing with the officials of public institutions and establishments and corporations undertaking responsibility in the sector.
2. Informing the regulatory and enforcement public officials on the problems of the technical consulting sector, which hold an essential responsibility in the construction sector, and search for appropriate solutions.
3. Performing preventive actions to eliminate the environment of unjust competition resulting from inappropriate applications.
4. Carry the successful samples of changing and developing technology in international applications to our country.
5. Development of the construction sector in compliance with modern conditions can only be possible by ensuring “Structural Quality”. Thus, exerting efforts to make changes in the related laws and regulations in order to ensure that parties involved in a project bear their responsibilities.
6. Informing the related authorities and the public on and ensuring application of the “Professional Liability Insurance”, which shall document the responsibility of the consulting sector in the client-contractor-consultant triangle.
7. Creation of convenient conditions to ensure that the members benefit from the “Professional Liability Insurance” which is the quality certificate of the technical consultant.
8. Elaboration of training programs to improve the quality of the members in their firm’s activities and to provide guidance to its members on this issue.
9. Ensuring adoption of correct rules by increasing the use of FIDIC publications that are accepted by the developed countries and recommended by major loan institutions.
